Our process. One day on set, planned to become everything you need.
Five steps, start to finish. Scroll through them, then watch one shoot day turn into four finished pieces for a client.
Step 1
Learn.
Before a camera comes out, we sit down with your team. Who are you talking to? What should they feel? How do you sound at your best? The answers become the story we tell.
- A working session with your team
- Your audience, voice and goals on one page
- The story we are going to tell
Step 2
Plan.
We write one shot list for every format at once: the wide film, the square post and the vertical reel. Interview questions, b-roll and the schedule are set before anyone arrives on set.
- One shot list for every screen
- Interview questions and a b-roll plan
- A shoot-day schedule you can count on
Step 3
Shoot.
Two cameras, sound and light on set. Every take is framed with room for each crop, so nobody's head gets cut off in the vertical edit.
- Two cameras, lighting and sound
- Interviews and b-roll in one day
- Framed for wide, square and vertical
Step 4
Cut.
We edit at a newsroom pace. You see a first cut quickly and give notes, then we finish with color, a sound mix and captions timed to every word.
- A first cut for your notes
- Color, sound mix and captions
- Turnarounds in days, not quarters
Step 5
Deliver.
Every piece arrives sized, captioned and named for the place it's going, ready to post. If you'd like, our team posts it and tracks how it does.
- Every file sized and named
- Captions and thumbnails included
- Posting and analytics, if you want them
Shoot day
One day on set.
Two cameras, sound, light and one good story. Everything that follows comes out of this room.
Cut 1
The brand film.
Two to three minutes, titled, graded and mixed to broadcast standard. The piece everything else points back to.
Cut 2
An Instagram reel.
Interview on top, b-roll underneath, captions timed to every word. Made for a phone held in one hand.
Cut 3
A LinkedIn post.
A 4:5 cut with burned-in subtitles, because the feed scrolls on mute.
Cut 4
Their website's hero.
The same story, front and center: the first thing a new donor sees.
- Brand film, 2 to 3 min
- Instagram reel
- LinkedIn post
- Website hero
- Sample client: Harvest Commons
